Curator talk: Canberra reimagined through the artists’ lens

Curator talk: Canberra reimagined through the artists’ lens

Wednesday 21 April: 1–2.00pm

 Free. Bookings essential.

As it developed, artists have seen Canberra through different lenses, and these have shaped the way they understood and interpreted the evolving landscape.

Join Virginia Rigney, Senior Curator Visual Arts, for an illustrated talk through four key periods of the city’s development to explore how artists including A.E. McDonald, John Horgan, Lawrence Daws, Toni Robertson, Dean Cross, David Flanagan and Waratah Lahy have imagined its future.

In association with the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival.
