Foyer

Our architecturally designed foyer is perfect for cocktail events, networking evenings, launches and celebrations. You can spill the event out into the open-air courtyard too, which is lovely in the warmer months. It's impressive and intimate at the same time, and fits up to 250 guests.

Available during opening hours for up to two hours. Outside opening hours, there's no time limit.

Theatre

Suitable for presentations, film screenings and seminars, and seats up to 55 comfortably. It has an inbuilt projection screen (270 x 406cm) with high quality visuals for all media.

Included equipment: PA system, VGA/HD data projector and screen, freestanding or headset microphone and/or lectern, and a CD/DVD/Blu-ray player.

Boardroom

Suitable for executive meetings or small training and planning days, with a polished boardroom table that seats up to 14. It also has a small kitchen, a private outdoor balcony and an interactive touch screen for video conferencing and presentations. Large photographs from CMAG's collection and small sculptures on plinths add to the museum and gallery atmosphere.

Included equipment: data projector and screen, whiteboard, and basic videoconferencing equipment.

CMAG's exhibitions also make great break-out spaces to refresh your group between sessions, with a look at art or social history. Guided group tours of exhibition highlights are available by arrangement.

Opening hours and after-hours events

Our standard operating hours are 9am to 5pm on weekdays and 12pm to 4pm on weekends. Events held outside these hours attract an after-hours staffing charge, for up to 100 guests:

• Weeknights — from $438 (3 hours, 2 staff), then $73 per staff per hour
• Saturdays — from $684 (3 hours, 2 staff), then $114 per staff per hour
• Sundays — from $954 (3 hours, 2 staff), then $159 per staff per hour
• Public holidays — from $954 (3 hours, 2 staff), then $159 per staff per hour

If the building isn't vacated at the arranged time, security and venue costs are adjusted accordingly on your invoice.
