With strong links to the Australian Curriculum across Italian, Visual Arts, Design and Technology and History, this bilingual education tour of the exhibition Taglitti: Life in Design is designed for secondary students studying Italian in Years 7–10.

Delivered in both Italian and English, the tour highlights the cultural, architectural, and civic contributions of visionary Italian-born architect Enrico Taglietti, and his enduring design legacy in Australia’s national capital. Students will explore the story of Taglietti, his wife Franca, and their family's design-rich life, gaining insight into his identity as a Global Architect through his most significant projects. These projects are brought to life through architectural drawings, sectional models, large-scale photographs, ephemera and artworks.

The 60 minute tour encourages conversation in Italian, supported by critical thinking prompts inspired by the exhibition’s content. Each experience can be tailored to suit the group’s level of language proficiency and learning needs. An optional hands on maker session is also available.
