World Environment Day 2020

Friday 5 June is World Environment Day. As many people around the world continue to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s World Environment Day is a reminder that human health is linked to the health of the planet. It’s time to reimagine our relationship with the natural world. CMAG is celebrating World Environment Day by inviting CMAG children to participate. Inspired by the theme of nature, we have created Leaf Art, an early childhood online learning resource. This activity was inspired by the award winning children’s picture book Leaf by Sandra Dieckmann. Leaf draws on themes about the environment and prejudice against those who seem different. Please click here for a story time session with the author. You can find out more about the book here and here.
