Great O-Week Debate: Painting vs Sculpture

Great O-Week Debate: Painting vs Sculpture

Thu 14 February: 1–2pm

Members free, $10 full, $5 concession

Pick a side and cheer them on as ANU School of Art & Design staff battle it out to prove which medium wins: Painting or Sculpture.

Inspired by the diverse range of painting and sculpture in EuroVisions: Contemporary Art from the Goldberg Collection, Peter Alwast, Head of Painting Workshop, and Jaqueline Bradley, lecturer in Sculpture, will apply the fine art of argument, fake news, hyperbole and whatever else it takes to persuade curator and moderator, Michael Desmond, and you, the audience, that their favoured art form reigns supreme.

Program supported by European Union Delegation to Australia in the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage #EuropeForCulture
