It’s been 50 years since 2XX went to air on 2 July, 1976 and it’s time to celebrate!

To mark this incredible achievement, you are invited to catch up with Double Exers from the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, noughties and now.

2XX has touched the lives of many people. This is your chance to share and look back on the highs, the lows, the exciting times, and the dramatic moments of change at the station and in the culture, politics, music and community that 2XX still serves.

There will be a screening of the 1989 2XX documentary I’m On Air, plus a special cake cutting ceremony you won’t forget, all broadcast live.
