Floor talk: Building a collection

Floor talk: Building a collection

Sat 7 July: 2–3pm

How do you determine what is included in one of the country’s most significant art collections? What works help to tell a story about what it means to be Australian? Where is this collection, now with over 6,500 works, displayed?

Join Katrina Rumley, the Parliament House Construction Authority’s curator, in conversation with Justine van Mourik, Director Parliament House Art Collection as they discuss their roles in the creation and ongoing curation of this diverse and important collection assembled over the past 30 years.
