Each year Canberra Museum and Gallery holds a Photography Prize for Canberra’s secondary students, displaying all entries to the public. It’s a chance to showcase the emerging talent in our region and provide entrants with pathways for development. From 6 September until 26 October 2025, explore their work in-person at CMAG or online.
This year entrants were invited to respond to the Taglietti: Life in Design exhibition. Enrico Taglietti was one of the most influential mid-century Italian-Australian architects and designed many prominent public buildings in Canberra including the Italian Embassy, Dickson Library, Centre Cinema, Flynn Primary and many private residences.
This year Ted’s Cameras are on-board as the major sponsor for the 2025 Secondary School Photography Prize, continuing their commitment to foster the next generation of Australian photographers. x
