FLOOR TALK: Significance

FLOOR TALK: Significance

Thu 9 March: 1–2pm

The significance of items included on the UNESCO Memory of the World Australian Register list gives us insight into our history and heritage.

Discover the process of nominating a record with AIATSIS Curators Alana Garwood-Houng and Dr Charlotte Craw.

Alana Garwood-Houng will share her experience working with the Australian Indigenous Languages Collection. Dr Charlotte Craw will focus on some of the most powerful documents in the exhibition, the Sorry Books. The Sorry Books document personal responses of everyday Australians to the history of the Stolen Generations.
