Assistant Director, Exhibitions and Collections
Rowan Henderson is Assistant Director, Exhibitions and Collections and has been with CMAG since 2008. During her time as a Curator of Social History she curated exhibitions on King O’Malley, women, the natural history of the ACT, the adult industry in Canberra and CMAG’s map collection. She is an experienced researcher and writer of Canberra history, with articles and reviews published in the Journal of the Royal Australian Historical Society, Labour History, and Australian Historical Studies. Rowan has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), majoring in History/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Queensland, and a Master of Liberal Arts (Museums and Collections) from the Australian National University.
